The Kampos of Chios – Protection and Development

Perleas Mansion participates actively in the “The Kampos of Chios – Protection and Development” event, which will be held on Saturday, November 10th in the “Andreas Axiotakis” Hall of Faros Varvasi of Chios. Mr. Vangelis Xydas will have the pleasure of presenting “The Perleas example” as our own way of managing and developing a citrus orchard and its mansion in Kampos, Chios.

The conference will discuss the issue of protecting and enhancing the physiognomy of Kampos, in combination with the need for the development of this particular region.

The speakers will have the opportunity to report on:
– the current institutional framework,
– the problems of its implementation,
– the need to create a new institutional framework for integrated protection and
– the institution of multifunctional farms as a new lever of rural development and entrepreneurship.

The Conference is co-organized by the Municipality of Chios and the Hellenic Society for the Environment and Culture.
